A Daddy's response

Good morning everyone I hope this finds you with rest. We are going through some change right now in this ole world. And to be honest I don't know if I want it to go back to normal. The old normal that is. I think the world got comfortable and we have forgotten who is in control. But when we are going through something do we respond like Zechariah did. Let's start with verse 67. His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied: (When we come out of a storm are filled with the Holy Spirit with nothing but praise on our lips. I think not.) "Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David as he said through his holy prophets of long ago, (Do we look at the Old Testament and see what was said and see if we are experiencing anything like what they did? Do we look to the old for guidance and wisdom?) salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us- to show mercy to our ancestors and to remember his holy covenant, the oath he swore to our father Abraham; to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear (Do you serve God without fear or do you serve Him only when you are around Christian friends?) in holiness and righteousness before him all our days. And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High (could you imagine knowing that your child was going to be a prophet this quick out of the womb?) for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace." And the child grew and became strong in spirit, and he lived in the wilderness until he appeared publicly to Israel. Guys that would be a lot to take in, knowing that the child that God told me was coming was preparing the way for the Savior. I don't if I could handle that. Not the way the world is today. But that is exactly what God wants us to do. Can you praise Jesus today? I know I can because My Redeemer lives!
