A call to repentance

Good Morning all. I pray that this day finds you blessed. God calls all of His children to repentance. Sometimes He calls an individual and sometimes He calls a nation. I have heard many a prayer but not one that says "God forgive us, what have we done." No we are to busy fighting over things that do not matter. It's like we are defending Jesus and He needs no defending. He needs us to put aside all of what we think He means, repent, seek the Holy Spirit and move for Him. But again we are to busy fighting other Christians. In Hosea, God tells us what to sow. Hosea 10- 12- "Sow for yourselves righteousness. Reap in mercy. Break up your fallow ground. For it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you." We need to sow righteousness, reap mercy and break up our ground. What are we doing? Are we seeking the Lord or just want this world to go back? When God changes you, you don't go back to the way you were. So, why do we think that He would change the world back? But instead we have done this. 13-"You have plowed wickedness. You have reaped iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies, because you trusted in your own way, in the multitude of your mighty men." We have done the complete opposite of what God has called us to do. And look a little further on. Hosea 11:7- " My people are bent on backsliding from Me. Though they call to the Most High, NONE AT ALL EXALT HIM." We are so worried about being right, that maybe we are wrong. Do you think this world got in this condition just because of one man sitting in an office? If you do, then you are asleep. We turned our backs on God a long time ago. And we have not truly ever turned back to Him and His ways. Repent, seek what Jesus has to say for your life and you will find rest. I will leave you with one last scripture. Hosea 12:6- "So YOU, by the help of YOUR God, RETURN. OBSERVE mercy and justice. And WAIT on YOUR God continually." Have a blessed day and wake up children of God, wake up!!!!!
