One!

Good morning brothers and sisters. One and only one! What do I mean by this? Well, we have only one Savior. Jesus said many times that the Father and He are one. So too should we live. Christ not only died for our sins but He also gave us the example on how to live. I look at it this way, me and my husband live together as one household. We are different, have different roles but yet we are one. We should first love each other as one and be one church. The one church is that of Jesus Christ. There will not be any Pentecostals, Baptist, Catholic, Church of Christ, Methodist, and the thousand other religions there is in heaven. We all will be one! That lead me to Philippians 2:1-4. Love and warning is where God has me right now. 1- Therefore IF there is any consolation in Christ, IF any comfort of love, IF any fellowship of the Spirit, IF any affection and mercy, 2-fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord of one mind. See right there. We have all these things when we are of one mind not many. Now I don't mind having different churches but we should all be of one mind and that is Christ. But the sad reality is that we are not and that is not Christ like. 3- Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowlines of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4- Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. These 4 verses says a lot of how we should be acting. We are to raise others up as we rise up. We are to come together in love, work out our different thoughts and seek the Lord. We have an example. When are we going to lay it all at the feet of Jesus and become one? Have a blessed day and rise up child of God, rise up!
